Letter 16: Ambiguity

To B.

I told my friend that I could not live in his vague amorphous world. The response of Nature was to double-down, take my hand, and more gently guide me into such living. It has become just as beautiful not to know myself as to know it. We begin to observe certain things about the self that others do not observe, but it is the not knowing behind the gradual revealing that is the true beauty.

As ever, D.
