I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the metaphor on theosophy and the dancer in the recent Summer Solstice Spiral Path (2023). Over the years, I have had difficulty putting into words precisely what I have been doing with my theosophical studies, beyond knowing that it is a part of the 21st century "openness" that was inaugurated in relinquishing the past and prefacing the future. But your metaphor explained it beautifully, "The ballet dancer has barre exercises, where basics are repeated until they become fully ensconced. Then the dancer may use those practices to piece together more complex dance." Yes, I have simply moved away from the barre and am dancing.
