In Chapter XII, H.P. Blavatsky shifted her focus away from the microcosm to revisit the macrocosm.
(Chapter XII). ANCIENT THOUGHT IN MODERN DRESS: In The Secret Doctrine 1:583, H.P. Blavatsky discussed three major scientific assertions in "Occult works."
First, the Solar Sun contains "terrestrial elements" common to scientific inquiry as well as "unknown" elements outside the scope of scientific inquiry. Like an atom, the Solar Sun possesses a "material" side and an "energy" side. The "energy" side as the Spiritual Monad is attracted to the shell of matter. In The Secret Doctrine Commentary on page 312, H.P. Blavatsky reiterated that the Solar Sun had to be rejected by Aditi or it would have continued to swallow up the more material planets due to its strong "attraction" to them. Cornelius O' Connor wrote in his "Introduction to Electromagnetic Solar System" in the March 1939 The Theosophical Forum that the Solar Sun operated like a great "stabilized electromagnetic vortex" radiating a "continuous succession of spinning ring-waves in which the planets move." The planets behave similarly but with "smaller vortices." The "chemical elements" perform the same actions but on an "atomic scale." By separating the Solar Sun from the planets, Aditi ensured the integrity of the ring-waves from macrocosm to microcosm. Of course, the underlying magnet is the Central Spiritual Sun. In Isis Unveiled 1:208, H.P. Blavatsky wrote, "There is but one MAGNET in the universe, and from it proceeds the magnetization of everything existing."
Second, the Earth globe has its own "special laboratory on the far-away outskirts of its atmosphere." Every atom and molecule differentiates when it crosses the boundary of this laboratory into the atmosphere more immediately surrounding the Earth. Physically, this laboratory may be the Kuiper Belt or the Oort Cloud. Metaphysically, this laboratory is the Ether or Aether.
Third, the Solar Sun contains every "element" on the Earth, but the Earth does not yet contain every "element" in the Solar Sun. In the current Fourth-Round cycle on our Earth globe D, the forerunners of the three Dhyani-Chohanic classes of evolving entities are now only beginning to incarnate. These evolving entities will bring new "elements" from their solar peregrinations to the Earth. This explains why H.P. Blavatsky defined the term "Element" in two different ways in The Secret Doctrine 1:567, an "Element" is the original "undifferentiated" condition of a Laya-center prior to its periodical evolution and an "Element" is also the climactic evolutionary result in bringing about the "divine." Only when the first phase has yielded to the second phase will the Earth contain more of the solar "elements."
