I have been wandering in the Universal Mind lately. I have never found God there. But perhaps Leo Tolstoy is right: God must deny our claim to himself or we shall fall asleep. In life we are like the Hobbits in The Lord of the Rings--too much attachment to a half-pint of ale and a full pint of Rosie Cotton.
